Hello. My name is Steve Nowottny - I'm a journalist in the UK, with over 15 years' experience in senior editorial and communications roles.
Currently I am the editor of Full Fact, the UK's independent fact checking charity. Before that, I was news and investigations editor at the UK's biggest consumer website, working with Martin Lewis at MoneySavingExpert.
Previously I was a health journalist at the GP magazine Pulse, first as an investigative reporter and news editor, then as editor. I've also worked in a number of communications and media relations roles - and a long time ago, I started out as a local newspaper reporter on the Huntsville Times in Alabama.
